In order for the letting of your roof area to be profitable for both parties, a number of conditions must be met. The size, future plans and condition of the roof surface play a major role here.
- Both the building and the roof truss must be stable and in good condition to bear the additional load of the solar system. If your roofs are in need of renovation, VODASUN® will provide you with a roof renovation.
- To rent your roof area, we require a size of at least 1000 m² - for all smaller areas, the feed-in tariff is not sufficient to cover the high investment costs. Before installing a solar energy system, you must first determine the size of your roof area.
- If your property is surrounded by tall trees or buildings and the roof to be rented is therefore often in the shade, it is not possible to rent out a roof for a solar installation.
- Are you planning to renovate or demolish the building? To ensure that the solar system on your roof surface generates sufficient profits to offset the high investment costs, lease agreements are concluded over a longer period of time. With VODASUN®, the contract term is 20 years - with the option of two 5-year extensions. Large-scale changes or demolition of the building are not possible during this period.
